On August 20, Hidekazu Chayama, Chief Representative and Director of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) Beijing Office and Deputy Director Li Qing, and Dachuan kumiko, Director of Science and Social Department of the headquarters had a forum in BJAST. Li Junkai, Director of the Division of International Cooperation of BJAST, Huang Lin, Deputy Director of Beijing Exchange Center of Science and Technology, and Li Jin, Director Assistant of Beijing Research Center for Science of Science attended the forum.

On the forum, Li Junkai introduced the basic conditions, development targets, development strategies and related work of international cooperation of the academy. Hidekazu Chayama and Dachuan kumiko introduced the general conditions of JST, research subsidy mechanism and related work such as "Science Agora".

Subsequently, both parties had concrete exchanges in carrying out joint research, organizing in-depth visit and exchange, implementing talent training, and mutual invitation to international conferences.

BJAST and JST will jointly promote the all-round pragmatic cooperation, including technological innovation and talent exchange, and realize mutual benefit and win-win in wider fields and higher levels.
