On April 1, Wang Shaofeng, Secretary of Labor Union of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area and his delegation visited and researched the Beijing Milu Ecological Research Center, and Fang Li, Secretary of Party Committee of BJAST, accompanied the research. They check the living conditions of elk in the wild, watched the Elk Eastward Migration and Global Deer Exhibition, learnt about the origin of elk, and communicated the issues of the integrated construction, management and development of Milu Center and Beihaizi Park.

Fang Li expressed the hope that both parties can strengthen the communication and cooperation to develop historical and ecological resources to jointly create ecosystem, culture circle and tourism circle to achieve the integrated construction on; to integrate the tourist services and other functions to achieve the integrated management, and to create the Xishan Mountain-Yongding River Culture Zone, science education on ecology and Beijing Eco-museum to achieve the integrated development, thus promoting the win-win cooperation, providing great support for the construction of Beijing's "Four Centers" and reaching the science popularization, culture and tourism demands of Beijing citizens.

Wang Shaofeng pointed out that Milu Center and Nanhaizi Party can use its own resource advantages to complement each other's advantages. Both parties should, taking the opportunity of the construction of Beijing Eco-museum and Nanhaizi Cultural Museum, jointly create the core cultural park to provide sufficient living space for elks and other wild animals, to promote the construction of the national elk wetland park and Southern Beijing Ventilation Corridor, making full use of personnel and material resources to construct the Beijing Academy of Eco-culture Research, thus promoting the protection and research of humanistic ecology.
