On 29th October, BJAST held the unveiling ceremony of Training Center for "Belt and Road" International Sci-Tech Cooperation and the special training on "Big Data for Enterprises under Major Epidemic Prevention and Control: Application Models and Experience Sharing". Wang Qinglin, Deputy Director of Department of International Communications, China Association of Science and Technology, and Fang Li, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group oof BJAST attended and jointly held the unveiled ceremony. Jia Wei, first secretary of Science and Technology, Political and Press Section, PRC Embassy in Pakistan, Gong Dahui, Executive Secretary, All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association, and more than 20 Pakistani trainees attended the unveiling ceremony online and participated in the training.

Relying on the 2020 China Association for Science and Technology "Belt and Road" International Sci-Tech Organization Cooperation Platform Construction Project, the Division of International Cooperation of BJAST, Beijing International Science and Technology Service Center Co., Ltd., Training Center of BJAST and other units jointly established the Training Center for "Belt and Road" International Sci-Tech Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as training center).

Gong Dahui, on behalf of Pakistan's main supporting units, expressed online that he would jointly promote and deepen cooperation with BJAST.

Wang Qinglin congratulated the establishment of the training center. As the main force to promote non-governmental scientific and technological exchanges, the China Association for Science and Technology attaches great importance to scientific and technological cooperation and cultural exchanges with countries around the world, to enhance mutual trust and mutual trust in the scientific and technological circles, and to promote the construction of a scientific and technological community.

Fang Li pointed out that to serve the national “Belt and Road” strategy, relying on the 2020 China Association for Science and Technology "Belt and Road" International Sci-Tech Organization Cooperation Platform Construction Project, BJAST established this training center. BJAST will further implement the development strategy of “building a strong academy through innovation, talents, openness, and services”, give full play to the leading role of the “Belt and Road” international sci-tech cooperation base. He issued certificates to the outstanding students of English and International Communication Ability Training of BJAST, who will be the important reserve force for our institute's international science and technology cooperation talents.

In the subsequent discussion, Wang Qinglin and Fang Li exchanged views on the work and achievements of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology in the context of the current international science and technology cooperation, and how the BJAST can better serve the national science and technology diplomacy strategy. Li Junkai introduced the project implementation and progress of the international cooperation between BJAST and the " Belt and Road " countries. Wang Qinglin encouraged the BJAST to further deepen cooperation and strive to be included in the implementation process of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

On the same day, experts such as the founder of Peking University Zongheng Management Consulting Group gave special lectures to online and offline students on the theme of "Enterprise Big Data Application Mode under Major Epidemic Prevention and Control".
