Li Junkai delivered a keynote speech at the meeting
On Jan. 17, 2021, on the occasion of celebrating the first anniversary of the founding of Shenyang & ZGC Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Center which is themed on “Digital Innovation and Intelligent Manufacturing in the Future”, the National Digital Industry Innovative Development Forum of 2021 in Shenyang was held at the Center. The delegation of the ZGC Global High-level Think Tank Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the “ZGCTA”) was invited to attend the forum and the celebration ceremony. The meeting was held both online and offline. A total of more than 40 leaders, experts and entrepreneur representatives from Shenyang and Beijing arrived in the scene and more guests attended the meeting through livestream platforms.
Leaders including Gao Wei, the member of the Standing Committee of Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor of Shenyang, Liu Kewu, secretary of the Party Committee of Tiexi District , and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Area, China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenyang, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Experts including Wu Hequan, the member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Tan Jianrong, the member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering made keynote reports.
During the meeting, the Beijing-Shenyang Industry and Innovation Council was officially established. Then, a strategic alliance cooperation agreement was signed by Wang Li, deputy secretary of the Party Group and vice president of Beijing Academy of Science and Technology (BJAST). The signing of the agreement was an initiative for the ZGCTA to integrate itself into the strategic plan of Beijing-Shenyang cooperation and promote the development of Shenyang. Li Junkai, secretary-general of the ZGCTA and director of the International Cooperation Division of the BJAST, delivered a keynote speech themed on "Integrating Digital Innovation into the New Development Pattern of 'Double Cycle'". Premised on the background of the digital economy, the speech analyzed how to integrate digital innovation into the new development pattern of 'double cycle' with the help of resources at home and abroad. By reviewing the opportunities and challenges existed in the development of Shenyang and combing research achievements and application cases of BJAST in terms of digital innovation, the report provided a “BJAST solution” for promoting digital transformation and upgrade in Shenyang.
