On 22^nd of October, a series of international scientific workshops on the creation of the “One Belt and One Road” initiative was held at Fengyi Branch of Fengtai First Primary School in Fengtai District, Beijing. Professor Nikolai Gannaruk from Russia,  the founder of the science show, gave an interactive experience class of popular science to nearly 500 primary school students.

Zhang Xin, the full-time deputy secretary of the Party Committee, the director of the Party Mass Work Department of the BJAST, and the project leader of the “One Belt and One Road” international science workshop project, and Qiao Jing, the principal of Fengyi Branch of Fengtai First Primary School in Fengtai District, Beijing attended the event and made a speech. Zhang Xin introduced that the "One Belt and One Road" International Science Workshop was based on the accumulation of positive exchanges between Beijing International Science and Technology Service Center Co., Ltd. and 63 institutions in 47 countries along the "One Belt and One Road" in the past 7 years.

Under the requirements of epidemic prevention and control management, to avoid the gathering of students, this event opened the "cloud classroom" method of popular science, and realized that one expert could teach students in multiple classes at the same time. Professor Nikolai’s "Science Experiments You Can Do at Home" class introduced students to small experiments that can be done at home by using the materials around them.

The “One Belt and One Road” International Science Workshop was organized by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, undertaken by Fengyi Branch of Fengtai Frist Primary School in Fengtai District in Beijing, Beijing International Science and Technology Service Center Co., Ltd. of BJAST, and co-organized by Beijing Shidong Education Technology Co., Ltd.
