On April 13, Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Management and BJAST held the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement and the opening ceremony of Capital City Management Research Center. Jia Mingyan, first-level inspector of Municipal Urban Management Committee, Zou Yanxing, first-level inspector, Wu Jianmin, Deputy Secretary of Leading Party Members’ Group and president of BJAST, and Shao Jinwen, member of Leading Party Members’ Group and vice president of BJAST attended the meeting.

The Capital City Management Research Center, jointly initiated by the Municipal Urban Management Committee and the BJAST, is a science and technology collaborative and innovative open research platform for the operation and management of the capital city.

Wu pointed out that the BJAST will adhere to the people-centered development idea, give full play to its advantages and resources, and jointly build the Capital City Management Research Center with the Municipal Commission of Urban Management. To build Beijing into an international first-class harmonious livable city, the BJAST will play its role under the demands of Beijing city operation and management and the new framework of new city construction plan, focusing on the capital city management strategic, comprehensive and bottleneck problems, adhere to the party leading, demand oriented, science and technology empower, leveraging advantages of think-tank to serve scientific decision-making, to promote the capital city management to be more scientific, elaborated and intelligent.
