On June 22, Fang Li, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Wu Jianmin, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and President of the BJAST, led a team to Zhongguancun Group, where they had a discussion and exchange with Zhao Changshan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman and Xuan Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Zhongguancun Group. Zhao introduced the group including its park construction, industrial investment, science and technology finance, and science and technology services. Wu introduced the development of BJAST and its "four two four" development priorities. The two sides believe that their cooperation has significant foundation, and agree to jointly launch the BJAST- Zhongguancun Qihang Innovation Fund, which will be released at the Zhongguancun forum. At the same time, they will continue to strengthen cooperation in think tanks, science popularization, scientific and technological services and other fields, and jointly promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the fields of new materials, intelligent manufacturing and the development of small and medium-sized scientific and technological enterprises.

Fang Li pointed out that the two sides have rich scientific and technological resources and are highly complementary. The two sides should integrate their own advantageous resources, strengthen cooperation, jointly optimize the open capital's scientific and technological innovation ecosystem, and deeply integrate into the construction of Beijing International Scientific and Technical Innovation Center.
