• BJAST Had a Visit from the Beijing Municipal Urban Management Commission

  • On March 14, Xu Li, member of the party group and deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Urban Management Commission, led a team to the Institute of Urban Safety and Environmental Science of the BJAST to investigate, Shao Jinwen, member of the Leading Party Members’ group and Vice President of the academy, attended and spoke at the meeting, and Dai Baoqian, Deputy Director of the Institute presided over the meeting.

    The leaders of the Municipal Urban Management Commission learned about the achievements and advanced practices of scientific research and technical services carried out by the Institute in the fields of urban safety, occupational health, and popular science training, as well as the willingness of future service city management.

    Xu Li hoped that under the framework of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Municipal Urban Management Commission and the BJAST, it will strengthen in-depth matching with the Institute in terms of setting standards and policies in the fields of gas, heating and sanitation, and provide support for research on related topics to promote scientific and technological achievements to better serve the field of urban management.

    Shao Jinwen emphasized that the BJAST attaches great importance to the construction of the Capital City Management Research Center, and includes it in the key work of the construction of the International Science and Technology Innovation Center, requiring the researchers of the BJAST to actively make good use of the research base platform to provide better scientific and technological support and services for urban management.
