On May 8, Liu Chuncheng, Secretary of the Hebei Academy of Sciences, led a team to the BJAST for investigation. Fang Li, Secretary of the leading party members’ group of the BJAST, presided over the meeting, Zhang Deqiang, Vice President of the Hebei Academy of Sciences, and Liu Qingjun, Member of the leading party members’ group and Vice President of the BJAST, attended the meeting.

The two sides had in-depth exchanges. Liu Chuncheng thanked BJAST for its warm reception and in-depth sharing. He said that the BJAST has management experience and development advantages in many fields such as analysis and testing, urban governance, science and technology think tank, and science popularization. As Hebei Province has unique geographical advantages and urging demand for development, he hopes to work closely with the BJAST in related work.

Fang Li said that the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is a major national strategy, and it is of great significance to continuously strengthen and deepen scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges between the two academies, and give full play to the unique advantages of local scientific research institutes in serving regional development, which is of great significance for science and technology to empower the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. It is hoped that the two sides will base themselves on the needs of regional development and their own advantages, and earnestly deepen and achieve results in scientific and technological cooperation between the two sides.
