On August 20, the 2023 World Robot Conference Robot and Science and Technology Innovation Integration Development Forum was successfully held. The forum was hosted by Beijing Association for Science and Technology and BJAST. With the theme of "Integration of Robots and Science and Technology Innovation" for the first time, the competition builds a platform for the integration of scientific research, education and industrial innovation, gives full play to the advantages of talents to support technological innovation, expands the application of robot technology, promotes the extension of robot achievements from the innovation chain to the industrial chain, and serves the construction of Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center. The forum activities included keynote speeches, roundtable dialogues and award awards for enterprise proposition competitions, attracting nearly 150 experts, representatives and investors from government departments, scientific research institutions, chip design, robotics and application enterprises, and social organizations.

Wu Jianmin, President of BJAST, and Su Guobin, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, attended the forum and delivered speeches. Wu Jianmin pointed out that the development of the robot industry involves multiple disciplines and fields, and requires multi-party collaboration and guidance and support, hoping that this forum will build an exchange and cooperation platform, condense the strength of the government, colleges and universities, enterprises and all walks of life, display scientific research results, interpret policy measures, express opinions and suggestions, exchange ideas and views, collide thinking sparks, condense industry consensus, seek innovation and development, promote pragmatic cooperation, and promote the integration and development of robot technology and scientific and technological innovation.
