On November 2, Wu Jianmin, Deputy Secretary of the leading party members’ group and President of the BJAST, led a team to Zhongguancun Science City for research and matching, and exchanged views with Wu Kai, Deputy Director of the Zhongguancun Science City Management Committee, member of the party group of Haidian District Government and Deputy Head of the district. Wu Jianmin pointed out that Zhongguancun Science City, as the starting point of scientific and technological innovation, the source of original innovation, and the main position of independent innovation, has dense innovation elements such as talents, technology, achievements, capital, and data, strong innovation vitality, and excellent innovation ecology. At present, the district is actively developing a high-tech industrial system with the big information industry as the pillar, the big health industry as the breakthrough, and the future industry as the guide, which has a high degree of compatibility with the research and development direction of the BJAST. The BJAST will adhere to demand-oriented, goal-oriented, problem-oriented, and application-oriented, and support Beijing's economic and social development, urban construction management, and high-tech industry development needs.
