On December 2, the BJAST, the Beijing Association for Science and Technology and the Social Sciences Academic Press jointly held the "Beijing High-quality Development Blue Book (2023) Press Conference and Seminar". Yu Bin, a well-known economist, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Development Research Center of the State Council, made a special report on "China's Economic Rebalancing". Fang Li, Secretary of the leading party members’ group of BJAST, released the Blue Book of Beijing's High-quality Development (2023). Yang Qun, editor-in-chief of Social Sciences Academic Press, and Liu Xiaokan, member of the party group and vice chairman of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, delivered speeches. Liu Qingjun, member of the leading party members’ group and vice president of BJAST, presided over the event.

 Researcher Jia Pinrong, a researcher of BJAST and director of the High-quality Development Research Center of the Institute, released the "Report on the High-quality Development of Beijing's Digital Economy (2023)", which analyzes the relationship between the digital economy and the high-quality development of the economy, puts forward five key points of the high-quality development of the digital economy, constructs the high-quality development index of the digital economy from six dimensions, and analyzes the five major influencing factors of the high-quality development of the digital economy.

More than 60 people from the BJAST, the the Beijing Association for Science and Technolog, and the Social Sciences Academic Press attended the meeting.
