From November 22 to 24th, four expert representatives from the Serbian Center for the Promotion of Science, the University of Belgrade, University of Kragujevac and other institutions were invited to visit the BJAST to carry out a series of exchanges and seminars on joint application projects and cooperation in science and technology popularization. Wu Jianmin, President of the BJAST, and Liu Qingjun, Vice President of the BJAST received them before the meeting, and Liu Qingjun participated in the meeting and delivered a speech.

Wu Jianmin, on behalf of the BJAST, extended a warm welcome to the Serbian experts, reviewed the cooperation, and expressed his gratitude to Serbian institutions for their support and contribution to China-Serbian scientific and technological cooperation. He pointed out that the BJAST will actively promote scientific and technological cooperation between China and Serbia and make greater contributions to achieving mutual benefit and common development.

On the exchange meeting, representatives from various units of the BJAST shared with the Serbian delegations on the relevant technology of our institute, and exchanged views on personnel exchanges, joint research and other cooperation activities.

On 24 November, the visitors visited the National Natural History Museum of China and the Beijing Planetarium. During the visit and discussion, the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges on popular science cooperation and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.

The visit of the Serbian delegations has contributed to the important consensus reached by the two sides on cooperation in many fields, marking that the scientific and technological cooperation between the BJAST and relevant Serbian institutions has entered a new stage, which is conducive to promoting in-depth exchanges and cooperation between China and Serbia in the field of science and technology.
