On July 25, Xu Yuansheng, Counsellor of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Rio de Janeiro, visited the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology for exchange, Li Junkai, Director of the Center for International and Regional Cooperation and Secretary-General of the Zhongguancun Global High-end Think Tank Alliance, presided over the meeting, and Qi Rui, Deputy Director of the Beijing Planetarium, attended the meeting.

Through this event, the two sides reached preliminary intentions on the signing of cooperation agreements between Beijing Planetarium and Rio Planetarium, cooperation between Think Tank Alliance and Brazil's top think tanks, etc., and agreed that in the future, they will continue to explore and broaden cooperation fields, enrich cooperation forms, further deepen exchanges and cooperation between the BJAST and Brazilian scientific research and science popularization institutions, and work together to make greater contributions to promoting Sino-Brazil scientific and technological and people-to-people exchanges.
