Recently, Guo Guangsheng, President of BJAST led the team to China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd and had a forum about academy-enterprise cooperation, and concluded the strategic cooperation agreement. Qian Tianlin, Director of Technology Quality and Informationization Department of China National Nuclear Corporation, Lu Hongzao, Chairman and Xingji, Chief Engineer of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd and Shao Jinwen, Vice President of BJAST attended the meeting.

Lu Hongzao showed greetings to Guo Guangsheng and his team. He stated that BJAST and China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd were close to each other. They have cooperated projects of radioactive wastewater of the nuclear field. At the same time, he hopes to further innovate the cooperation system and mechanism, jointly serving the construction of Beijing National Science and Technology Innovation Center, and helping boost the innovative development of domestic nuclear industry.

Guo Guangsheng pointed out that BJAST would take this strategic cooperation as the opportunity and fully exert its advantages and strength in the scientific research field to carry out cooperation with China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd in terms of scientific research project cooperation and talent exchange, jointly implement technical R&D and contribute strength to the domestic nuclear industry development.

Shao Jinwen and Xing Ji concluded the strategic cooperation agreement as representatives of both parties. After the meeting, the team led by Guo Guangsheng visited the test and verification platform of "Hualong One".
