YIMING WANG is a Member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, former Vice President (Vice Minister) and Researcher of the Development Research Center of the State Council, an Expert enjoying the Special Government Allowances of the State Council, and concurrently Doctoral Supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Part-Time Professor of Renmin University of China. YIMING WANG used to serve as Vice Managing President of the Academy of Macroeconomic Research of the National Development and Reform Commission and Deputy Secretary-general of the National Development and Reform Commission. He has long been engaged in research on  development strategy and planning, macroeconomics and policy, regional economy and policy, etc.; wrote and co-authored over 10 academic monographs, published over 200 academic papers and theoretical articles in core journals and important newspapers and periodicals. His research results won the first prize of Outstanding Research Achievement Award of the National Development and Reform Commission for five times.
