Kuniko URASHIMA，Ph.D., Deputy Director of Foresight Center National Institute of Science and Technology Policy (NISTEP), Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan. She joined the NISTEP in 2003 with prior professional experiences in the fields of environmental pollutant treatment using plasma technology at McMaster University in Canada, Los Alamos National Laboratory and Ford Motor Company in Unite States, and Poitiers University in France. Dr. Urashima is also a professor at Nagoya University, Gifu University and Iwate University. Her current research interest is future development especially sustainable society based on energy and environment.
