SHIYUN ZHANG, PhD, Researcher, is the Deputy Director & Academic Leader of BJAST Think-Tank, Director of Beijing Institute of Science and Technology Information, Director of Beijing Key Laboratory of S&T Policy Simulation and Decision Support and Candidate selected for Beijing New Century Talents Project. Dr. ZHANG is also a qualified Chinese Professional Manager Certificate and Senior S&T Consultant. In the meantime, He holds a concurrent post as Standing Council Member of Chinese Association for Science of Science and S&T Policy, Deputy Director (General Secretary) of Beijing Science and Technology Policy and Management Association, and Standing Council Member of Beijing Statistical Society. In the past five years, he has undertaken nine research projects at state level and 46 research projects at provincial and ministerial level, published 11 books and 16 journal papers. Dr. ZHANG directed and completed the research project of “Strategy and measures of Beijing Building National S&T Innovation Center”, participated the compilation of Beijing’s Eleventh Five-Year Plan of S&T Development, Beijing’s Twelfth Five-Year Plan of S&T Development, Beijing’s Thirteenth Five-Year Plan of National S&T Innovation Center Building, and Medium and Long Term Plan of Beijing Natural Science Foundation.
